Family Fitness

Your family is a system that no one knows better how it functions than those involved.  Understanding the parts and the whole of the system may offer opportunities for healthier change(s).   Each person involved in your family has their own motivations and notions about exercise, sports and body image.

Wanting exercise and wellness to be an energyzing, unifying and fun source of experiences is a realistic but not always attained goal.  Sometimes focusing on it can also be an issue of anxiety and/or stress for kid(s) and parent(s). Not creating a family interest in exercise or activity may lead to other health related issues.  So what are some effective keys to create involvement and a supportive environment?  Within the site, I will be periodically selecting and posting educational articles, and the newly created forum has a topic dedicated to this subject-and these are free resources.  Family engagement, enrichment and enjoyment are passions of MyFitnessPartner.com and many up and coming tools and resources will be made available.
